01What this review can and cannot confirm
As of 7 September 2026, we have not inspected a verified Donbet account's document request flow. We cannot state that it requires a passport, accepts a particular bank statement, completes checks within a set number of hours or offers a specific verification provider. Claims elsewhere that verification is instant or requires no documents should be treated as unconfirmed until supported by the current operator's actual policy.
Verification is also not a single question. A business may need to establish who a customer is, whether account details match a payment source, or what information supports a particular financial review. These questions can require different evidence. Ask which issue is being addressed rather than assembling every document you own in the hope that one will be accepted.
If a request arrives unexpectedly, first confirm that it belongs to your account and the verified operator. Compare the account reference and issue with your own records. Do not open a document-upload link in an unsolicited message merely because it contains the brand name. A plausible request still needs an authenticated recipient, especially when the documents contain identity numbers, financial information or a facial image.
02Know what the regulator's guidance actually says
The Gambling Commission explains that businesses within its remit must establish age and identity before gambling, and that some checks use electronic records while others require documents. It does not prescribe one universal document list or promise a single completion time. These are general Great Britain standards, not verified Donbet compliance. Read the Commission's age, ID and financial verification guide.
The same guidance explains that withdrawal should not be the first opportunity to request information that could reasonably have been sought earlier, while recognising that later circumstances can create additional obligations. Therefore a late request needs context. It is neither proof that every delay is acceptable nor proof that the business is acting improperly. Ask what new issue arose and why the information is required now.
Great Britain covers England, Scotland and Wales for this discussion. Northern Ireland has separate gambling arrangements, so the phrase UK verification rules should not erase that distinction. Before relying on a regulator's process, establish the named operator, current licence and relevant location. We have not independently confirmed those facts for Donbet and do not present this article as a finding about its legal status.
03Turn a vague request into a specific checklist
Read the message for the question being checked, the required evidence, acceptable alternatives, date range, image requirements and submission route. If any element is missing, ask before uploading. A request for proof of address might leave unanswered whether an electronic statement is accepted or how recent it must be. We cannot fill those gaps with a generic Donbet rule because no verified checklist is available.
Ask which fields must remain visible and whether unrelated information can be redacted. Do not assume that an edited file will be accepted, but do not volunteer unnecessary details without asking. If a document contains more information than the stated check needs, request a narrower alternative or an explanation of why the additional content is necessary. Keep the answer with the original request.
An illustrative clarification message is: Please confirm the purpose of this check, the documents or alternatives you accept, the required date range, the details that must be visible and the secure upload route. Please also tell me whether the material I already submitted is sufficient. This template helps define the task; it is not a Donbet requirement or a guarantee that a particular alternative must be accepted.
04Prepare readable evidence without changing the facts
When the request is authenticated and clear, prepare a legible copy using the original document. Check that the relevant text is readable and that required edges or pages are included. Avoid glare, motion blur and crops that remove information the reviewer specifically requested. These are practical quality checks, not a verified Donbet photography specification. Follow the actual documented requirements where they are available.
Never change names, dates, balances or other facts to make records match. If the underlying information has changed, explain the change and ask what supporting evidence connects the old and new records. An honest difference can be investigated; a manipulated document creates a separate problem. Do not use someone else's documents or payment account as a substitute for your own evidence.
Use descriptive local filenames that help you track submissions without exposing identity numbers. Keep a note of what was sent and when, and retain the original privately. If a file is too large or a format is unsupported, ask for an approved method of providing it. Do not upload documents to an unrelated public sharing service simply because the account's upload interface is inconvenient.
05Separate identity evidence from payment ownership
A document establishing your identity may not establish that you own the receiving bank account. Conversely, a bank statement may show an account holder without resolving an outdated casino profile. Ask exactly which relationship needs to be demonstrated. This prevents a cycle in which the same passport is repeatedly submitted for a problem that actually concerns an old card or a mismatched wallet address.
If the original payment instrument expired, was replaced or closed, explain the specific event and date. Ask what evidence the operator needs and what the provider can supply. Do not assume that a screenshot of a new card alone proves continuity with the old one. At the same time, do not expose a complete card number or security code in ordinary correspondence to make the explanation more convincing.
If a joint account or shortened display name is involved, request guidance before submitting a withdrawal. State the facts without guessing the operator's ownership policy. We have not verified whether Donbet accepts joint accounts or how it handles name variations. The aim is a documented link between the registered customer and the proposed payment destination, using evidence accepted through the verified process.
06Ask financial-review questions in plain language
A request concerning money may ask about the source of a particular payment, broader income or supporting account activity. Do not assume these are interchangeable. Ask which period and transactions the reviewer needs to understand, and whether a summary plus specific evidence will answer the request. We have not confirmed Donbet's financial-review policy, triggers or accepted documents and should not pretend otherwise.
If the request would expose information about another person, a business customer or unrelated sensitive activity, explain the concern and ask for a suitable alternative or redaction guidance. Do not fabricate a simplified statement. A carefully scoped request is easier to fulfil accurately, and it gives the reviewer a clearer basis for assessing the information without an unnecessarily large bundle of records.
Keep financial reviews separate from encouragement to continue gambling. You do not need to make another deposit or increase play to demonstrate that your account is active. If access to an existing balance is affected, ask whether the withdrawal remains recorded, what specific task is outstanding and when the next review update will be provided. An explanation should address the existing funds and evidence, not a new promotion.
07Track receipt, review and rejection as separate events
A file-upload confirmation proves that a submission was recorded; it does not necessarily prove that a reviewer has accepted the evidence. Track three stages: sent, acknowledged and reviewed. If a status stays unchanged, ask which stage it represents. This simple distinction prevents a technical upload problem from being mistaken for a completed review that someone is ignoring.
If evidence is rejected, request the reason and the exact correction needed. An unreadable image, missing page, date outside the required range and inconsistent personal detail each require a different response. Do not resubmit the same file repeatedly without an explanation. If the stated defect is unclear, quote the message and ask the reviewer to identify the affected field or page.
Maintain a compact document log: request date, purpose, submitted item, acknowledgement, review result and next action. Avoid putting full identity details in this ordinary note. If several agents handle the case, send the log and reference numbers through the authenticated channel so they can locate the existing evidence. This can reduce duplication while preserving a clear account of what you have already provided.
08Deal with delay or an unsafe-looking request
If verification holds a withdrawal, ask whether anything remains outstanding from you and request a dated update. We have no verified Donbet review deadline, so a fixed wait quoted by this review would be invented. If support cannot explain the position or repeatedly requests the same material without addressing prior submissions, ask for escalation and the formal complaint procedure.
If a purported verification request asks for your email password, banking password, card PIN or a payment approval code, do not supply it. If you already entered credentials into a suspicious service, secure the affected accounts through their genuine providers. The NCSC's phishing guidance explains how to handle suspicious messages; it is not a finding that a particular Donbet message is fraudulent.
Once the check is completed, retain the result and confirm which account functions or pending requests it affects. Verification approval does not necessarily mean a payment has been released. Use our withdrawal time guide to follow the separate cashout stages and the customer service guide if a formal record is needed. Keep the document archive private and review who has access to the device on which it is stored.
QUICK ANSWERS
Your questions, answered.
We have not independently confirmed its current checklist. Read the authenticated request and ask for accepted documents, alternatives, date ranges and required visible details. Do not treat examples from another operator or review page as a Donbet requirement.
No verified completion period is available. Ask whether your file has been received, whether review is complete and whether anything remains outstanding. Request the date of the next update rather than assuming upload confirmation means approval.
Ask the verified operator which information must remain visible and whether redaction or an alternative document is acceptable. Do not change factual content or assume that any edited file will be accepted. Provide only the evidence required through the agreed secure channel.
Only use a document channel whose identity and purpose you have independently verified and whose instructions support that use. A chat window is not automatically a suitable place for sensitive records. Ask for the approved submission route and retain an acknowledgement.
